Where did you spend your school years?

I spent elementary, middle, and high school in Miami. After graduating high school, I came to Yokohama in Japan to attend Yokohama National University where I received my Bachelor’s degree.

What did you do as a student?

In university, I majored in Global Leadership, Facilitation, and Business. I was also a part of my university’s street dance club where I danced hip-hop for 4 years.

What kind of work do you usually do? (Explain in a series of flows)

Receive task from clients
Create several drafts of desired designs
Ask for feedback and fix designs until client is satisfied

How do you spend your day’s work?

Designing, researching, receiving feedback

What are some of the most rewarding moments in your work?

Being able to see my designs published or being used
Completing projects with the collaboration of other departments
Improving not only my creative skills but also my business related design skills through speaking or listening to clients

Moments when I feel growth in my work compared to my past self.

Looking at designs I’ve done in the past compared to current designs
When actually creating designs; things like speed, design fundamentals, consulting skills, color theory, have all slowly started to become more familiar

What do you like about EVOLANY?

Being able to create designs for businesses in not one but numerous industries
As a fast-growing company, employees have several chances take part in new service launches

How do you spend your weekends and what are your hobbies?

Dancing
Watching movies in movie theaters
I love planetariums, the ocean, animals, cafes, ethnic food, flowers, bbqs, and cosmetics.
