I was born and raised in Algeria, so I attended school there up until the age of 19, when I got the opportunity and decided to come to Japan.
In Algeria, I was a member of a scientific and tech club where we used to organize events like hackathons and talks. In Japan, I only had a few chances to participate in such events because my top activity was swimming in my university's swimming club.
When I work on anybot tickets or a project the flow is as follows:
Pick a ticket if none were assigned to me and understand the problem
If the ticket is about a bug then research & debug the code
Otherwise if it is about a feature then:
- Design
- Research & Implement
- Test the code
- Document
I get coffee. I review my tasks for that day. I attend the morning meeting. I go through my workflow. I have lunch with my coworkers. I continue my work. At the end of the day I use the nice massaging chair we have :)
When the feature I worked on gets released and people start using it and give positive feedback about it
When that annoying feedback finally vanishes from the product
When I know how to solve a problem quickly without taking a long time to do research about it.
Become faster at coding and at solving problems
