I feel like there are many rewarding moments in this job.
Sometimes nothing goes your way in this job, and you leave it feeling like you wasted the day. Like when that program-breaking bug is still there, or you're behind schedule on a project.
But when things go right and you finally fix that difficult bug, or finish that feature you've been working on, that's what the job is all about, and it makes it all worthwhile.

Coming back to something you wrote a while ago and seeing how you could have done things better is a clear indicator that your skills have improved.

My current challenge is to reach the skill level that I can be considered a 'senior developer', where I can be relied on by my team, and junior developers can look to me for guidance. There are many things to learn in programming and new technologies are constantly emerging, so it's important to be continually learning and looking to the future.

Evolany gives developers a large amount of freedom to tackle problems in their own way, while maintaining a good learning environment. Our senior developers are approachable and knowledgeable. Also, free pizza.

I like to play board games with friends and watch movies on the weekend.
